NEXT24

Delete your NEXT24 account

NEXT24 has no sign-up, but the app does create an anonymous account on your device the first time you open it. That account owns your posts, comments and likes. You can delete it at any time, and doing so deletes everything it owns.

From the app

  1. Open NEXT24.
  2. Go to Settings (the tab on the far right).
  3. Scroll to Your account.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm when asked. The confirmation lists what is about to be deleted.

There is no password to re-enter, because the account has no password — there is no credential to challenge. The confirmation dialog is the check.

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently, from our servers:

What is not deleted

How long it takes

Deletion is immediate, not queued. When the confirmation appears, the rows are already gone. There is no recovery window and no archive — we cannot restore a deleted account, even if you ask us to the same day.

Note that posts delete themselves anyway: everything written in NEXT24 is permanently removed 24 hours after it is posted, whether or not you delete your account.

After deleting

The app keeps working. It creates a fresh anonymous identity with a new pseudonym, and nothing connects it to the one you deleted.

If you no longer have the app

Reinstalling will not recover your old account — the identity lived on the device, so a new install is a new account and cannot delete the old one.

If you have uninstalled the app and want data removed, email next24official@gmail.com. Include anything that helps us locate the content, such as the text of a post. Be aware that in most cases there will be nothing left to delete: posts are erased automatically after 24 hours.
